Want to say byby and thank you all

To all of you,
I have sold my Freelander 2 after 20 not always so pleasant months and bought the Mercedes GLK 220 cdi blue efficiency automatic.
Of course, I run the GLK with the addition of 2-T oil from day one!!!
So I wish to say byby to the members and readers of this excellent forum, and thank you all for the advise and most interesting discussions we have had. I enjoyed every minute. I am sure I will miss you.

With very best regards
Yamaha Fan

Buy hey it’s a fantastic car to drive and beats the Censored out of everything else in the same class on the market (personally speaking of course) Thumbs Up Thumbs Up Thumbs Up Thumbs Up . 2007 Freelander 2 HSE TD4 Manual with Premium Pack & Moonroof.

I'm not a great fan of German engineering these days. Granted they used to be the best, but quality has slipped. LR have their issues, but they're great fun to drive. Each to their own I guess. Have fun in the Merc, but don't forget yourself and start dabbling in green laning Shocked Thumbs Up Gone - TD4 XS Auto, Sumatra Black, Mud flaps and side strips, clear indicators, private plate, privacy glass

It's a shame to hear you're leaving YF. Anyway, all the best and please keep us informed about any important oil-news.

You've been a good source of info on here YF and I'm sure you'll be missed as much as you miss us Thumbs Up

I wish you all the best with the Merc, and guessed that's the way you were going from your comments some months back.

Like NP I really don't like the look of the GLK, and knowing how poor build quality of MB has been over the last years it wouldn't be for me, but then again look at the FL1 compared to the FL2, so I could be wrong.
Hope you enjoy it and look forwrad to you posting a nice lengthy review of the GLK vs FL2 as a goodbye gift for us Bow down Once you've tasted GREY you'll never go back!
