We previously had a smaller car so the boot seems big. Not to forget the car actually has a full size spare & that is larger than what most cars use. Procrastination, mankind's greatest labour saving device!

This is true, it's just a bit shorter than my previous 9-3 sport wagon |

More so when you are in the middle of nowhere & have to repair a broken bolt.

The front bolt of the 2 rear bolts is over the airbag. So if you look into that hole you see the top of the airbag. The rear bolt is clear.

Yeh I figured that one out, but the bolts supplied were m6x45.

One of these tiny Barco ratchet spanners is brilliant for the cross brace with a 50mm extension. (Bahco drive socket set 2058/S26). I use it all time everywhere around the car.

This morning I notice an oil leak at the rear lh wheel. Doesn't appear to be brake fluid as theres no difference in the pedal and no leak when the pedal is pressed.

Have you looked in the brake fluid reservoir. It's under the little trapdoor on the left side of the plastic panel at the back of the engine bay.
