I suspect the stupid rubber arch strips are responsible for that.

United Kingdom 2007 Freelander 2 i6 HSE Auto Stornoway Grey

Are you sure that’s not really a Range Rover? Rolling with laughter

I am quite shocked, ours is a 2006 i6 and the wings/cills and bodywork do not show a single bubble of rust, where as our previous 2011 Range Rover was riddled with the stuff! Regards

David

Lovely i6 has now gone, but not me......

Please let me know if anything in my post offends you, as I may wish to offend you again......

I guess I will follow the steps used in this video and give it a go myself when I order all the items needed.

nevre done this sort of stuff since the good old 1970s, working on my Mini, unlike the pro types, I will concentrate just on the arch lip rather than the whole panel which so many seem to do Bow down Bow down 2017 SEAT Ateca 4drive 2.0 xcellence (May 2022 -

You'll need to sort the inside of the arch too I imagine as that rust has come from somewhere Jules
