We need to do something about climate change, although I do not see that short term (knee jerk) solutions are always the best.

How were the assembly members selected?

Still don't see why you say *lefties" as it is stated that all postcodes were considered in selection.

Not everyone who is concerned about climate change is a "leftie".

Many are just concerned parents or grand-parents who wish to express a view on how this world will be for ther families.

Can see where the title is coming from although as said above not everyone who is concerned about climate change is a ' Leftie ', so maybe a bit misleading but personally I think these Extinction Rebellion folk need to sort themselves out and clean up their act as they are forcing ordinary folk away from what matters by their actions. A few examples.....

Celebs jumping on the bandwagon ( but flying from USA to join a protest !! )

The mob in Cardiff who blocked Castle Street with a boat ( only for said boat to be later seen on a trailer in a petrol station whilst the gas guzzling SUV was being filled with the devil's deisil and was later seen pulled over due to amount of pouring out the back end )

Merkel demanding the West cleans up its act whilst still pouring millions into crap German brown coal.

Welsh Assembly ( I can't bring myself to call it Government ) claiming Wales is in a climate emergency so M4 relief road is not needed but Aberthaw is still importing Russian coal .

However they did it, the sample of 108 is far too small to be statistically significant for the population of the UK. It is actually so small that it will inherently introduce bias. A common mistake of first year university students when planning their first research project, but usually quickly addressed by their supervisor. Everyone can spread it - Anyone can catch it. Stay home - the life you save can be your own!

how many kids have 'carers' ? now they may have relatives that help parents. The term carers to me are kids who live in care.

I'm a parent ......... certainly not a carer ! Imagine your child introducing you to one of their friends as "these are my carers"
