United Kingdom 2014 Freelander 2 SD4 SE Auto Santorini Black

Don't think you'll realistically get any more than already offered. Learned to drive in 2011.
Bought a Micra - great little car
"Upgraded" to Kia Sportage - hated it
Proper upgrade to FL2 TD4 GS 60 reg Facelift - tailgate paint issues, fuel gauge rewire, transfer box failure at 36k miles, clutch at 60k
Reconditioned diff at 70k ish
Sold at 84k and now on a DS. Terribly unreliable.
Sold DS for a 2021 Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV. Fingers crossed....
Sold Outlander for a 2014 SD4 SE Tech because I’m mental

United Kingdom 2009 Freelander 2 TD4 GS Auto Zermatt Silver

If you are trading it in , the part ex price offered is irrelevant . The only thing that’ matters is “ the cost to change “ . Get a cost for the new car from Broadspeed or Carwow . Subtract the value of your car that you can realistically get from “ We buy any” . If the cost to change from your dealer is better than this it’s a good deal . If it isn’t tell them . 2009 GS Auto Zermatt Silver - Sold June 21 after 10 years of ownership

2016 Subaru Outback SE 2.0 diesel SE Premium Lineartronic Sold 2024 after 8 years and 80k miles . Best Car I ever owned !

2023 Toyota Hilux invincible X 2.8 Auto .

I agree, having recently sold my wife's car.

We had a dealer quote which we thought was too low, then tried 'webuyantcar'.
Their on line price was good, so we took car to the local 'webuyanycar' site, and as expected the actual offer was a bit lower, but when I told the original dealer that we were not accepting his offer, he upped his offer to match 'webuyanycar'.

The dealer was local and easier, so we went with him. FL2 XS SD4 Auto 2010 2012-2017 (21k - 91k miles) (MY2011)

Don't spend money on an old car unless you are keeping it. It's dead money. My previous 2 cars were 25 & 18 years old. I intend to keep the Freelander until it is run into the ground. After 10 years you get to really know a car. Depreciation has long gone so that's not an issue, but it will be on a new car. Procrastination, mankind's greatest labour saving device!
