Why we love Landies.

 Common sense isn't very common.

It's all about

Traction and toque.

Those would be very specific circumstances to do that steep rock climb in the first clip. My scepticism says the camera was tilted a teeny bit ..

In the second clip of course we suspect we are watching a highway tread pattern on grass. MY11 SD4 SE Auto

This track further ahead had washed away, I would be surprised if any 4WD would get through, you couldn't even straddle the track & it was about 500mm deep. We didn't want to back down as we wouldn't have had any paint left on the sides.

Tried to turn the car on the sand, no go. After letting the tyres down absolutely no issues, & after about an 11 point turn we headed down the track.

The right tyres & the correct pressure makes all the difference.
