Bluetooth 2012 standard (basic) system not pairing

Hi, my first post here, hoping someone can help...

I can't pair any phones to my dad's FL2, it has the basic audio system (it's a black and white special edition).

There are no phones paired in the system, yet the system keeps telling us to delete paired phones...? The system is 100% communicating with the phone as it comes up as Land Rover on the phone screen , and an error message appears on the car and phone simultaneously.

Photo of the error message on the car attached.

If any ideas or if you have a solution please let me know!

Thanks.

Very puzzled by this

Not sure about that message; however not all phones are compatible. The latest iPhone that will link up for example is the 7plus or the earlier SE. All down to the model and year of your motor - google LR Bluetooth compatibility and it’ll list out all the suitable phones
