Steering whine when turning in one direction

Hey folks. Having had my noisy diff replaced, I have just noticed a whine/metal clatter noise when turning right at slow speeds (road noise at higher speeds means I don't know if it's there).

I'm well aware of the steering whine issues although I thought they were there turning on either direction, not just one.

Had the front discs and pads changed when the diff was done - any chance there's something loose or misaligned that could cause this? I'm on holiday just now so can't check.

I should add I can only hear it with the windows down - it hasn't been warm enough at home for that Rolling with laughter

Cheers. Learned to drive in 2011.
Bought a Micra - great little car
"Upgraded" to Kia Sportage - hated it
Proper upgrade to FL2 TD4 GS 60 reg Facelift - tailgate paint issues, fuel gauge rewire, transfer box failure at 36k miles, clutch at 60k
Reconditioned diff at 70k ish
Sold at 84k and now on a DS. Terribly unreliable.
Sold DS for a 2021 Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV. Fingers crossed....
Sold Outlander for a 2014 SD4 SE Tech because I’m mental
