Yours are most likely summer tyres, so “well ‘ard” to start with!

Some years ago working at a research centre for a large electronics company in my first job I had a puncture. I mentioned it a guy who said we will get it fixed on site in the lunch break. Next thing I was told to go to the site shop and buy 20 cigarettes. We took the wheel to one corner of a lab where they had all of the gear including a vulcanising machine and a wheel balancer and I handed over the cigarettes. Job done. Apparently they had managed to slip the equipment onto various government research contracts "for research purposes". Not sure if the management knew about it but you could get most jobs done for a packet of ciggies. 3 x FL1 2 manual + 1 auto

Years ago, I worked in London with an Australian that had never seen snow before.

All weather tyres!! this will be my last set.
great in bad weather, quiet with good tyre trade off
But being of a softer mix they seem prone to punctures...

Building work going on all around, mostly small jobs ie extensions and DIY,
seems to be people are a tad lax in cleaning up after themselves and we certainly
don't see any road sweeping at least not for a couple of years,
maybe I need to fit two big magnets to the front end. Rolling with laughter Rolling with laughter

I paid £21.60 at an indy today after getting a nail in my tyre.
Tyre has only about 1k miles on it and it was touch and go if it was repairable due to it being on the edge of the limit.
Much cheaper than 120 quid for a new tyre and I didn't have to faff about and fit the spare.
