 Yeh, I read that as well, but its mainly for CE marking and dosnt explain exactly what e-marking is. Keeping things simple, the numbers on the lamp relate to an approval which in turn relates to a test report conducted by either TUV or VCA for example. Test covers such things as light output, durability etc.

 Hey whats the panic Nick, you got a MOT coming up and you sold your old orange ones, so you cant do a quick MOT swap   I bet they DO check ALL the e-marking during an MOT  2007 Freelander 2 HSE TD4 Manual with Premium Pack & Moonroof.
