Just to clarify my earlier post yes there was series 1 station wagons but no series 2 station wagons as they did not appear until 1962 with the updated series 2A so as Lizzies has the curved waistline it has to be a series 2A.

This all reminds me of the time some years ago I went with my son to an agricultural event and on one of the stands Jaguar had an F1 car on display that was supposed to have been driven by Mark Webber in 2004. My son pointed out that it was actually the 2003 model that was on display. The guy on the stand asked if he needed a new anorak.  3 x FL1 2 manual + 1 auto

Ah I see I didn't know there was a break from Station Wagons for the S2 - I wonder why that was.
