Battery

If I fit a new Tanya agm battery to my 2011 fl2 td4 S, will I have to register it with my onboard computer. Hope someone can help.

I replaced my battery 2 weeks ago and only had to reset the clock and windows. 94 Disco 300 TDI Gone
96 Defender 300 TDI Gone...Should have kept it.
2003 Freelander ES TD4 Gone
2002 Defender TD5 Gone
2005 Freelander HSE TD4 Gone
2015 Freelander 2 Metropolis Keeping for now!

Hi, what battery did you use and was it reasonably priced. Mine is a stop/start, I know these can be expensive.

My car is Auto so non stop/start but I fitted a Yuasa battery, I have a trade card for Halfords so paid £91 but they do sell a Halfords AGM battery made by Yuasa for £142 with 5 year warranty but if you know someone with a trade card then it would be a fair bit cheaper. 94 Disco 300 TDI Gone

the freelander 2 will reset after about 8 hours no need to program the ecu like some cars with agm batteries.

Many thanks, I will be able to change the battery myself. The one that is on is nine years old so it has had good run.
