2010 LR2 Fuel Pump Amps

Does anyone know how many amps the fuel pump is a 2010 LR2 uses?

I finally found the issue I have been having for the last 2 years. The fuel pump harness inside the fuel take was completely shorted out. It seems crazy to see this type of electrical issues inside a gas tank! I was thinking of putting in an extra line of protection with an inline fuse at the pump, like just before the connector. Anyone else have this issue? And thoughts on this idea?

Also, anyone know the gauge of the main power wires to the fuel pump?

In the handbook for my car it's a 20amp fuse, so probably about 10amps.

Let's say 6 metres ( + & - ) ie 3m x 2 at 15amps so:
12awg 3.45% voltage drop.
10awg 2.17% voltage drop. Procrastination, mankind's greatest labour saving device!
