TROLLEY JACK

Hi, can any one recommend a good high lift trolley jack suitable for the freelander. I want to get the car up on sleepers under the wheels to do some maintenance underneath while on probably a prolonged lockdown.

I bought this one a couple of years ago. No problems with it but it's a bit of a heavy beast

And remember to use the correct jacking points. I think you can see a diagram at https://www.freel2.com/forum/topic31623.ht...ing+points Ex AA Series III LWB Safari - Gone
300TDi Disco (bought new - terrible car) sent back after 18 months
Freelander 1 Estate - leased, given back at end of lease
200TDi Disco (bought from a mate with 100,000 on the clock) - Gone
Disco 2 TD5 - sold and exported to France
FR2 TD4 GS - Gone
FR2 SD4 HSE - Now changed for a DS
New model ex-demo Evoque S 180 in white
Unable to order a new DS, so gave up. Now have a Volvo S90 Recharge.

^^^^^And axle stands are A MUST! I will never put 100% trust in any jack and I always top mine up or check annually & bleed.

Hi

I bought one. Of these from Costco Arcan 2750kg (3 Ton) Steel Service Jack - Model XL2750EU great three jack. Lifts to a height of 50cm which is more than enough for my needs.

I bought mine from SGS https://www.sgs-engineering.com/garage-equipment/trolley-jacks.

Brilliant but very heavy. I also use them for gas struts.

Same as 'I Like Chips'

Screwfix trolley jack good solid unit. Have been using mine for years.
Never needed to use the extension piece though. Plenty of lift in standard form. Thumbs Up Now at the point when I learn something new something old is lost out the other side !
Now retired so it doesn't matter anymore.
Freelander now gone.
