Charity

In a restaurant last night, adjacent to my table were four increasing loud guys. At one point they were discussing wealth, to which one blurted "I give money to charity ", as quick as lightening a fellow table member quipped, " and in exchange they give you clothes !!"

United Kingdom 2014 Freelander 2 SD4 XS Auto Loire Blue

One of my sons' first job for a couple of years was with a High St Bank in their business banking and said that it was interesting that the customers with the flash suits and Range Rovers were usually the ones with the biggest overdrafts and that he would often meet some ordinary looking people who would turn up in an old car and be worth millions. Apparently the Bank made a lot of money from "personal banking" like Coutts which was just another account number where they would charge you a lot for a fancy cheque book or credit card to flash around and all you got was access to a call centre with posh voices. And yes, the main customers were the people with the biggest overdrafts. 3 x FL1 2 manual + 1 auto
