Headlamp upgrade to LED - H7 bulb replacement 2007 model

All
Am looking to change my H7 candles to LED lights.
Looking on ebay I have found some appear to be designed for reflective style headlights, and a simple plug.
The question I have is
1. There is a note saying 'Attention that this is not an error free canbus light' - Does anyone know if this will throw an error on the 2007 model?

Many Thanks

When a bulb blows it doesn't show an error so I am assuming not. Silver 2009 HSE

An error will be recorded as a dtc.
The error with indicator failure is a “hyper blink” on the IPC and a Logged dtc.
Led headlights will require and inline resistor to emulate the halogen load to not register a dtc. MY15

So does that mean that they will not work?
Or will they work but an error message will be logged?

Thanks

Please note that those LEDs will have no clip to secure them in the headlight housing. They will be H7 fitting and the fly lead plug will fit the FL2 bulb connector. But the bulb connector is designed to also secure the bulb in its housing. It cannot if connected to the fly lead!

The big issue as dunkley points out is finding a clip to hold the led lamp in place of the one connector. Have looked at several which claim to do the job, but so far none do. The nearest were some claimed to be a Mondeo/Focus HID conversion, but not adequate imo.

After say repeatedly I'm stopping experiments with bulbs.... Just about to order these.... not LED or HID, but might be good for us reflector guys.

65w - 2100 lumen. H9 burner mounted to the H7 base.

Will give proper review when they arrive.
