Sad, but whenever you see those bulk eating events you have to wonder why no one dies

You have to wonder at the mentality of people who organise and go in for eating competitions when there are so many people who don't have enough to eat and others who are dependant on food banks.

But clearly they do.

Competitive eaters are often obese and I imagine it would be much harder to achieve success with the Heimlich manoeuvre in these people. Jules

Yes, I suffer from that and take Lansopazole to prevent it.

I remember when I was first diagnosed, the consultant told me I would need to take one tablet a day ......... for the rest of my life. He gave me a box of 14 tablets (was he trying to tell me something ??)

Rolling with laughter

Still here ......
