Dashcam Nextbase GW512 - Has anyone had troubles Rear Cam

Has anyone experienced long term intermittent problems with the 512GW Dash Cam.

I have copied below a fault report that I have just sent to Nextbase Support.

Has anyone any suggestions or experiences of similar. (I hope that I am heading towards a replacement or update of the camera)

Thanks in advance, Ian

Dash Cam 512GW (bought 13 3 2018)
On start up the rear camera is not always recognised or displayed.
Sometimes I get the display left/right menu, sometimes a box with no rear display, sometimes no box at all.
At the moment I front camera only displaying with no rear display box.
I have tried the reset button, dual file selection, re format MicroSD and connect to Nextbase via PC to check for updates.
All report OK and no errors.
I have disconnected/reconnected all cables, and error is there even when power is applied with car running on full voltage.
When rear camera is working everything looks ok.
Have I a firmware fault? I have noticed that the start up routine is a bit fragile at times and produces some errors.
If not what do you suggest.
My camera is under warranty from John Lewis who suggest that I contact Nextbase Support.
