Electric Window Troubleshooting help

Hi guys. Not a recalibrate window one which I know comes up a lot.

When raising drivers door window all the way to the top, it would then auto open to half way. Assumed it needed a recalibrate, and for a day or so thought that had solved the problem.

Then the window starts slowing down. Got the old silicone spray out which usually does the trick - no improvement. Window continued to get slower and slower to the point where i had to help it along with my hands to get up.

Currently it won't move up or down. Can hear the regulator getting power when i try the switch.

Would have normally thought that it was the lifting mechanism to be replaced. But also have a couple of other niggles that came with the car that never bothered me enough to fix:

1. Drivers controls won't work 95% of the time on one of the rear windows (but the button on that door is fine).
2. Error code for the Drivers Door Module.

So right now I could use some help troubleshooting where the fault is.... Lifting Mechanism/Motor? Door Module? Switches on the drivers door?

Any help narrowing this down would be appriciated. Hate buying parts that turn out not to be the problem, especially after this months hospital bills Laughing
