How do i know which posts are new??

Ive looked on FAQ and cant find the answer. What do the different coloured car shapes mean, I guess there is some link between those and the postings.

I just cant follow it at all.

Can anyone help as im a bit stalled with trying to follow whats new and whats old stuff

United Kingdom 2007 Freelander 2 TD4 GS Manual Stornoway Grey

Not sure about the symbols but whenever I log in I select 'new posts' which lists all topics with new posts since my last visit. So whether its a few hours or a few days since your last visit it shows where the activity has been. Thumbs Up

Hope this helps .... Stornoway Grey GS ... What a fine motor Smile ... but not any more ... Big Cry ... psst look at my gallery!
Company cars ... a thing of the past - May 2013.

If you scroll to the bottom of the Home page, on the right you'll see a panel with these icons in, and a description:
= New posts
= No new posts

You can do the same when viewing a forum, and these are the icons:
= New posts
= New posts (busy topic)
= No new posts
= No new posts (busy topic)

In addition there are these special ones in forums:
= Sticky with new posts
= Sticky with no new posts
= Announcement with new posts
= Announcement with no new posts

Basically - if the icon is "bright" then there are new posts.

You can also use the New Posts link in the menu bar (just to the right of the FAQ link) to display all the topics with new posts.

Hope this helps,

Martin
