Reverse cam upgrade?

Been thinking recently that the resolution of the OEM reverse cam fitted to the FL2 looks a bit rubbish compared to the rev cams fitted in more modern LRs and RRs (really noticed the difference after spending a day driving the latest Evoque). Does anyone know if it's possible to upgrade the cam, and has anyone fitted one accordingly?

Thanks

I think you’ll find it’s not the camera but the way the picture is transmitted to the screen in Gen2.1 via coax versus digitally in the newer infotainment system.
If you think the Freelander 2’s resolution is average try an Evoque using the 8” screen with Gen2.1 and you’ll be less concerned. MY15

I replaced my LR2's radio with an aftermarket double din with Android Auto and Apple Car Play support. Added an aftermarket rear camera in the process (there are millions of options!)

Adding Android Auto was a really great addition.
