Help. no start, dash error E, flashing hazard

Hi there !
I forgot my driver side back door open for 2 hours, rain came in a lot.
I can't see any wire or still damp area.

But now, I insert the key, press start power comes on but don't start, saying system check then : Hdc fault, transmission fault etc. flashing hasard, key fob not going really in/out (forced it out). Now there is an intermitent Beep sound every minute. (Don't know if horn honking i've disconnected the fuse when I got the truck 2years ago because alarm was tripping off intermitently at nights)
Tryed several time I can sometimes lock and unlock doors with the keyfob,
Disconnected battery no change.

Now I disconnected battery again since it won't turn dash off.

Someone could help me a bit please ? Smile

try jump start, sounds like flat battery, allthough door open, interior lights switch off after 8 mins or so ,still you've got to start somewhere!

well, I'm almost sure it is not battery related (had problem from day1 about that too, changed the battery and added an external charger wich I plug).
But i'll try too !

You say that it got a " a lot wet" is it possible that the spare wheel well area is full of water? There is a fuse box in there. 3 x FL1 2 manual + 1 auto

Isn’t there a connector block under the carpet in the front passenger footwell? Could that be wet? Past: FL2 TD4 HSE Auto

Isn't there a CRASH sensor somewhere? I wonder if water has got into it? I believe that when it goes off it switches off the fuel pump and some other things. You need to get some fault codes read . 3 x FL1 2 manual + 1 auto

Hard to tell from the partial diagram in the repair manual, but there is a B-pillar Impact Sensor, near the floor of that pillar, and a C-pillar Impact sensor at about parcel shelf level on that pillar.

The B-pillar sensor, behind the side scuff trim may be worth a look.

So, I recharged the battery, and tryed to boost it too, nothing.

I checked for wet, no water anywhere, the fuse in the back are goods, even the carpet is dry.

Passenger side underfootwell is all plugged good.

Whenever I plug the battery, the hazard comes on.

Don't see the crash error anymore. I'll check the pillar

Still thank you for trying to help my sorry ass Smile
