Thinking of doing something my folks have done.
Buy a cheapish car and sell it back to the vendor rather cheaper than paid.
Anyone here thinking of unloading something like that red GS that just sold for 1700 quid?

Not sure on the procedure for you with this but when you buy a car over here in the UK you will need to tax it. To tax it you will need insurance. I can’t imagine it will be easy or cheap to get insurance cover if you don’t have a UK licence and a UK address. You say Europe but what other countries would you be wanting to use it in? All the other countries in Europe drive on the other side of the road and again, insurance may be a problem. You might just be better hiring one in the UK and another in the rest of Europe. Oh, and we might not be in 'Europe' next July so may even be more motoring problems! Past: FL2 TD4 HSE Auto
