On the subject of mileage from tyres, you may be interested in my recent experience over three years with Continental Crosscontact 235/65R17 on my Sd4 auto HSE: 39,600 miles of which 60% has been French motorways with numerous crossings of the Alps and Pyrenees. Faultless performance on deliberately downsized 17" wheels from rock hard 19" blings.

After reading on here and other reviews I went General Grabber At3's and find them great so far. No noticeable drop in MPG and no noisier than the original tyres - will be interested to see how they last - mostly on road miles with some green lanes etc. |

Ayup there .. GGAT3’s fantastic rubber , and excellent on tarmac I’ve had a full set on my FL2 for over a year , done 20thou+ and still loads o tread , the drive and handling improved dramatically, I’ve had a full set 245/40/20 fitted to mi RRspTDV8 and again , the drive , ride , handling vastly improved .. jus sayin 👍😊😉 |

Can I throw another in the mix and ask has anyone used Kumho? If it wasn't so bad it'd be funny.

We ran Kuhmo on an RX300 about ten years ago, they were well rated tyres even back then but I was never very happy with them in the wet, always felt a bit skittish........I changed from those to Conti UHP and the difference was night and day.
