Driving lamps

Any ideas? I don't really like the ones shown in the LR accessory brochure - they seem too low down and too small. I used to have a set of LR Safari 3000 on my FL1 and these seemed good quality units, but would they fit on a FL2 above bumper in front of the grille ? The FL1 lamps had brackets that went between slats in the grille and were fixed to the metalwork behind.

Any photos of vehicles with extra lamps ?

I agree Ian. I did not like the look of the lamps as I also thought the reflectors were too small to be useful and the pods did not look good either.

My solution was to go for Bi-Xenon headlights (best value as part of the winter pack) and they are really good - better than my Disco 1 with 2x Safari 5000 lamps and my Disco 2 (late) with clear-lens driving lights (i.e. 6 bulbs on main beam) Gone... 2013 XS TD4 Manual Firenze Red

This was exactly my problem, so went and bought the 100w KC Daylighters. Eventually gave up on trying to get someone to make brackets - hence they're on ebay!

I've got bi-xenon too, but slightly disappointed with range.

so.........if anyone out there has any 'bright' ideas, please let us know Out on the road today, I saw a Dead Head sticker on a Cadillac.............
