Hi I have tried a search and not found anything so here we go

I have recently got this car and all is great but one of the rear tyres is almost at its wear markers whilst the rest all look relatively new with lots of tread. I suspect the previous owner had a puncture and just changed one. Will Running 2 different circumstances on the rear axle do any damage? Should I change the low one now even thought it still has some life left so it is a closet size to the other?

I would change it. Do you have a spare? If so, what's its condition? If it's OK then just swap them. If not, I'd look to buy a correct pattern spare wheel, keep the better of the two tyres as your spare and put a new tyre on the rear. Ex AA Series III LWB Safari - Gone

I think having unequal tyres across the back or across the front is not good. Equal fronts not equal to equal rears is ok though, if that makes sense.

i dont haver a spare wheel just the compressor and slime.
i was planning on getting a spare so maybe this is the time.

As above , same axle needs the same circumference , so same wear . As the FL2 is not a fixed synchronised four wheel drive , the difference in tyre wear between the front and rear won’t damage anything . You will find that as in normal road use that the front wheels deliver most of the drive and have the weight of the engine , that they will wear faster . One other thing is to check the type of tyres that you have on . For example if the tyres are a chunky All Terrain /ATR tyre , they may still be very legal at 3-4 millimetres, but actually pretty useless as a performing tyre . 2009 GS Auto Zermatt Silver - Sold June 21 after 10 years of ownership
