As I'm shielding I'm not using my Freelander. I should explain I live in a tower block and have no access to a power plug to charge the battery so to help the situation I recently bought a Solar Panel, to charge the Battery. It comes with two crocodile clips and a cigarette plug. To set it up can I just plug it into the cigar lighter or need i connect it directly to the battery.

What power solar panel? If it's more than 10 Watts, it'll need a charge controller, or it'll boil the battery. If it's one of those 1.5 Watt panels, then it'll hardly charge the battery at all. 2009 Rimini Red SE TD4. Soon to be sold. Hyundai Ionic 5 Ultimate on order. Gone. 2006 Tonga Green i6 HSE. |
