2010 Freelander 2 TD4 HSE Auto Lago Grey

2010 td4 auto injector control pressure low p2290

my 2010 td4 auto is a little slow at starting and if accelerating up a hill will go into limp mode and throws the code p2290.

I cant find much information on this. I am going to book it in with a specialist but mean while I would like to learn more so any info from you guys would be great.

First port of call is change the fuel filter, as they can set this code, due to restriction of fuel

Thanks for the reply Steve. I did a full service on it while i was in there so the fuel filter is new it would of been nice if that was it. from what I have read i think it could be the pressure sensor or the fuel pressure regulator or the high pressure pump but I'm hoping not the pump
