Stop-start

Just wondering if anyone uses stop-start regularly? Is so, are there any particular issues with wear and tear on any components?

thank you Bow down

Little further reading on the subject, oddly......look at the header photo Laughing

Oh and I spent several years recording the extended wear characteristics on the “new” SS systems and using the original components there was severe wear after three or four lifetimes, the new SS components wear showed well within normal tolerances at 50x life cycle, I personally have absolutely no fear that a SS system will produce any more wear than the older systems, and that was on “Dagenham Dustbins” Rolling with laughter

I have no doubt other manufacturers went through exactly the same procedures using the same component suppliers Wink

If they fail prematurely it’s down to either manufacturing faults or cost reduction exercises from bean counters. Regards

David

Lovely i6 has now gone, but not me......

Please let me know if anything in my post offends you, as I may wish to offend you again......
