The nearside door mirror on my 07 plate FL2 is in the process of detaching itself from the vehicle (having stopped folding some months ago), so I'm looking at replacement. Job seems easy enough, but they seem pretty difficult to find, and come in many variants.

Does anyone know if it's possible to put the more recent unit on the car? 2010+ models seem easier to find, but not sure about compatibility. Also, does anyone know if the wiring is compatible between options? The original unit has powerfold and puddle lights, so wondering if manual fold mirrors are an option.

Thanks in advance for the help, and if anyone happens to know where I can find a pre-2010 powerfold+puddle mirror, please let me know because they seem like hen's teeth!
