Always worth giving a MAF sensor a blow through with electrical contact cleaner before going to the expense of replacing it - the aerosol cleaner blasts away any residue on the wire and then evaporates leaving it clean - DO NOT under any circumstances probe or scrape the sensor wire it is very fragile and will cost you a lot too replace No Longer the owner of a 2013MY Fuji White GS

Thanks for your reply westville, I'll give that a go at lunch and see how it goes. I've managed to get a local garage to have a look at the code tomorrow, but he does want to get off for the bank holiday - just want to know if it's safe to drive etc. |
