That's great but they need to attend to their home market and keep customers happy ....

I made my first approach for an X type estate demonstrator over three weeks ago, still no sign of a car. All I've had is a couple of phone calls from a very embarrassed dealer apologising for the delay.

The X type will be no more after middle of next year, but it looks like they’re giving up on it already !!! Stornoway Grey GS ... What a fine motor ... but not any more ... ... psst look at my gallery!
Company cars ... a thing of the past - May 2013.

There was a new Defender SV in Carlisle at the LR dealer which was outside the entrance on demonstration ramps in December. I asked if I could buy it, but was told it was the bosses toy so nada. In Jan the vehicle moved into the showroom with a £30k ticket on it. It's still in there for sale..............

Seems to me that LR sales people have failed to move with the times, and are only used to a buyers market. Then again, it might just be usual Cumbrian apathy
