Fuel pump ? Keep running with ignition on sd4 is this normal

Fuel pump buzz keeps running on my sd4 auto when ignition on . Is this normal

That's not your fuel pump, it's your throttle body making that sound.

so is this normal with ignition on then . as it dont stop .

So if I disconnect the electrical plug to the throttle body noise should stop .then check noise to confirm throttle body fault .that right ?

But...

Could be at the Haldex, like IanMetro said, but... (Second but, indeed Laughing )
Haldex pump is energized only from time to time, not continuously like you said the sound is.

So...

You may have a really noisy in-tank pump...
You could try to take out fuse no. 22 at passenger feet (fuel pump fuse) and see if you could still hear it.

ok update
so its not from the rear of car pulled fuse for haldex and fuel pump and noise still there .but ive found it yes the throttle body makes noise but thats fine

but this is the main noise coming from front of the automatic gearbox plastic black cover sounds like a pump running all the time with ignition on
