"whooshing" noises are usually the first sign of a splot in the intercooler hose which can be extremely hard to find when not under load.

Exactly my experience - Could not reproduce it all on my drive but heard it when engine underload. Mine was the little short one at the front which, from what I read on here, is the most common one to go first. I did get a turbo code fault as well which helped in the diagnosis. Gonna get them checked out. My FL1 had similar issues, fitted silicon hoses and blanked EGR was much better when done. That was on a 115k TD4, my FL2 is on 89k so almost certainly due to be changed. Will post results!! |
