Why all the faffing about with these LED replacement bulbs??

Ive read a couple of threads on this and have to ask myself "Why?". Most of the messages tend to suggest that the light given of is dim or in the wrong place.

Why bother replacing a perfectly good interior light for an inferior one.

Am I missing the point here?

personally, i replaced mine to make them brighter

the OEM ones produce a dull yellow glow, a bright LED produces a nicer modern white light

I also did it as i like the white LED look, Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis
