It’s not central - too far to the right. Whistle

Anyway, isn’t de-badging only done by those with lesser models? Whenever I see a de-badged car, I never assume it is top spec. Past: FL2 TD4 HSE Auto
Evoque SD4 Dynamic Lux Auto
Present: Audi A3 S Line.

I wonder if the plate would look more “different” if the plate was normal size (or oversize legal) with the short reg?

Most plates are 7 digits long, so you have no choice on size, it is rare these days to see a 13" plate. I was on the M1 last week and had proper police car steam up behind me just to confirm plate was legal, they were happy and dropped back 😀

Indeed, not saying it’s illegal just visually I thought your plate layout might look more unusual with a standard (long) plate and the very short lettering.....just a thought. Regards

I read somewhere that in the UK there is a tendency for BMW owners to opt for the delete badge option on the bottom spec cars whilst in Germany it's done on the top spec cars where it's regarded as a bit naff to show off too much. 3 x FL1 2 manual + 1 auto

In Germany it has been for years “the thing” to debadge high spec/powerful versions and then on the Autobahn blow the lower spec versions away with a flick of the accel pedal......a good German democratic way of doing things Rolling with laughter Regards

I requested debadging before signing on the dotted line as I couldn't face trying to clean around 17 letters! Having had various sport cars ending with zeros I decided debadging was the way to go as cleaning was a pain. And having had a classic 500 SL debadged meant great fun meeting an underpowered SL poser at the lights or roundabout. All the FL2s have the same engine, owners know the difference, the general public don't care and car cleaning time is so much shorter. 2012 Smart For 2 cabriolet
