Realise that this is an old thread, but it's probably the most useful one on here for dealing with blower replacement.

Just about to attempt this myself and have found this TOPIx extract on blower removal useful. Thought others would too:

Left Hand Drive Blower Removal

Right Hand Drive Blower Removal Freelander 2 SD4 HSE Automatic - Aintree Green
