Fantastic car

Hi,
Well we have had our 07 Diesel Freelander HSE for a week now and I must report that it is truly a fantastic car. Having come from an 06 D3 HSE, I was a little nervous but im so pleased with the Freelander. Its very similar in a lot of ways but just feels a more rounded car. It certainly is a better size for us.
After reading this forum, I have made two subtle changes. The first was to fit smoked side repeaters and a small cubby box with cover is on order from Nick at Yeovil LR. Thumbs Up

The tyres will probably last until the summer when they will have to be changed. However, the cheapest that I have found so far is £170 fitted. Looking around the forum, it might be cheaper to get one of the wheel/tyre deals on offer and resell the wheels.

It is fitted with Xenons but not the Adaptive type..........but last night I was sure that they 'moved' a little whilst turning. I only have the D3 ones to compare with which moved a lot and also side lights came on when turning.

Can anyone confirm that its the same operation for the Freelander. How else can I tell if they are Adaptive?

Its the little box with chrome surround and black sliding cover that it fitted to the rear of the centre console on new models and those with the premium pack.
On ours its just a little square uncovered cubby box and apparently the new one just slots inside.

I wanted it because you can keep your Ipod etc out of sight.
