Its to float the idea of a meet up and chew the fat at some point from Saturday lunch onwards and possibly to include Sunday. The Pub (highest in England) has some accommodation and camping is an option there or the greater area. Or just turn up for a day trip.

Some off roading may be possible and if its really viable a FL2 / LR quiz will take place with the odd prize. Maybe we could raise a few quid for the air ambulance while enjoying ourselves.

So to see if its viable can forum members consider this over the next few weeks please and vote.

To be in with a chance of getting hold of one of these it would be nice to see and sell you some raffle tickets at the Tan Hill but being realistic and its not on the doorstep for everyone do members want to raise a few extra bob for the Yorkshire Air Ambulance and be in this Freel2.com draw for charity ?

If not so far all those saying they are interested and turning up will be guaranteed to get something.

To keep things well and truly above board my thoughts are I ask for cheques for a entry into this prize draw from those who would like to be in it but can't make the day and cheques dated for day of the meet and made out to the Yorkshire Air Ambulance. I hope someone will agree this ensures nothing odd is going to happen, obviously on the day cash will be fine and we can have a scrutineer or two.

Only one thing strikes me YB - with the scheme as it stands the air ambulance can't claim Gift Aid (which boosts the donation by 25%). BUT Members can download the Yorkshireairambulance Gift Aid form at http://www.yorkshireairambulance.org.uk/fi...orm-A4.pdf
and send it with the cheque or bring it on the day.
