United Kingdom 2011 Freelander 2 TD4 GS Manual Bali Blue

Bloody hell, all this just to find the right oil. Who can remember when you tipped in a can of Duckhams 20/50 plus a tin of STP if the pistons were rattling up the bores. Then a couple of squirts of Redex at the next refuel.
OK, engine design has improved, but it was less hassle with a Series LandRover. 11 GS Bali Blue
07 GS FL2. Usually muddy. Gone
Numerous LRs since 1963

Give these guys a bell for first class advice www.opieoils.co.uk don’t bother with the likes of eurocarparts etc. As Yorky Bob said if you have a DPF Millers 5w30 C1 long life is perfect for your car.

Used your link above with my car reg still gives me Ford 913B ie castro A5.
Had to use the search 5w30 c1 to get to the right oil.

So the lesson is do not trust these websites with their oil selection via your car registration but looked up on your owner handbook.
