Well I did it - a little after 10am this morning between the rain showers I braved the cold wind and took the plunge. Thumbs Up
Bit cold but exhilarating - shame only 8 of us participating but not surprised considering the weather.

Quite possibly, can't say checking how lucky I was came to mind, much more interested in making sure my clothes didn't blow away - would have made the walk back to the car a little awkward.
