We have just had 8 days at this excellent site, situated just outside Buxton in Harpur Hill. The site owners are great and nothing was too much trouble for them. There is an onsite café which even delivered Sunday lunch for 4 to our pitch. We had a fully serviced pitch which was massive, it took 50ft of hose to connect the water to our van and the tap was on our pitch!!! The shower/toilet facilities are really clean and very modern and sited in 2 blocks. There is small lake (large pond) which is stocked with small carp and fishing is available. This is a 68 pitch adult only site which is well spaced out so no over crowding and plenty chance to relax and unwind or a good base to get out and explore the countryside. The high peak trail, Tissington trail and Monsal trail are just a few miles down the road so plenty of chances for walking/cycling. We will stay on this site again
