It is definitely a Freelander 2 with Land Rover prominently written on the bonnet.

OXR 1 was the registration on that Aintree Green FL2. It's now no longer assigned to a vehicle.

I have a friend in Notts police who is now on the team for planning etc. Part of his job involves getting hold of vehicles for VIP visits including Royal Family. He just goes to the local JLR dealers and gets the fleet of RR or Jag etc off them.

I don't think the Royal plates will be publically documented anywhere for security reasons.
