Cambelt interval...

Hi

We have a GS TD4 coming up to 70,000 miles. It's an 08 reg and the Haynes manual doesn't give a fixed interval for the cambelt replacement.

What's the consensus on this?

Cambelt is 150,000mls or 10 years so yours would be due to be done based on age. Best practice would be to get new tensioner , idler pulley and water pump done at the same time. Thumbs Up

Just had the 10 year service or 150K service done on my 07 plate - eating out of the freezer for March & April!!!

But only if you are numpty Whistle I would say for reassurance max 7 years and way less than that mileage and dont forget a new water pump and coolant. FL2 MY10 TD4 GS traded in at 2 years
