Air Filter

I don't know if this has been posted before. The Land Rover service schedule states the air filter should be changed every two years. My car is 20 months old now and I checked my air filter to find it was completely black and choked up. My car has never done any off roading per sa and does average mixed driving. It has covered 14,000 miles. I changed the filter and it was a really simple job and worthwhile for the sake of £6.00. I think I'll do it annually in the future. Gone - TD4 XS Auto, Sumatra Black, Mud flaps and side strips, clear indicators, private plate, privacy glass

4 torx screws (forget which size) undo those, lift off lid, take out old air filter and discard, put new filter in and screw lid back down...

As per Dave's reply (cheers Dave). Also can't remember the size, but it really is that simple. Just make sure there's no debris in the chamber when you take the filter out. There shouldn't be, but you never know!! Thumbs Up Gone - TD4 XS Auto, Sumatra Black, Mud flaps and side strips, clear indicators, private plate, privacy glass
