The FL2 has an oil pressure sensor, oil temperature sensor combined with an oil level sensor. |

They are incorporated into the Engine Management, maybe one light for all or 'engine' light illuminates with a fault, and maybe the level is a bit archaic in its working, such as a big change in temperature 'might' mean no oil |

What done is done but obviously your oil level warning system did not work and however you finally deal with it that needs to be addressed as well. Good luck as there will be little to be found on the search side of the forum for your problem.
