That told me!

Was having a Genesis blast on the way home tonight when the cd stopped and the message "System over temperature" came up on the radio screen.

It was like being back at home with my Mum telling me off!

15 mins before it cooled enough to restart....... Rolling Eyes Perhaps FL2'S don't like Phil Collins. FL2 TD4 XS Santorini

United Kingdom 2007 Freelander 2 TD4 GS Manual Stornoway Grey

I've had a similar experience ...

I'm of an age where Elton John has a great significance to me.

I have a terrific live double album called "Here & There" which I just never get tired of.

Given that I spend a lot of time in my car I have ample opportunity to crank it up ....

I have overheated my system several times listening to this album ....

Maybe we can start a poll from this ... what album/artist has caused your system to overheat ????? Stornoway Grey GS ... What a fine motor Smile ... but not any more ... Big Cry ... psst look at my gallery!
Company cars ... a thing of the past - May 2013.

i have my stereo on quite loud all the time, listening to various things from radio 1 to Ian Brown to Foo Fighters and have never blown the stereo, even when listening on 35 for a hour and half Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

I may be well out on a limb here, but I am guessing that the actual artist is not too relevant Laughing

Must be the difference in the quality between GS and SE/HSE head units. FL2 TD4 XS Santorini

what hey , I've been deaf since we bought our Audi with the bose stereo 6 years ago. My pub landlord used to rack my pint up when he heard my music as I drove up the village Laughing
As for the freelanders music quality I'll never know as Finn is usually asleep in the back so hushed tones only Confused At work

I am often in an ambulance that is running with blue lights and sirens.
It is horrifying to see how few motorists who respond to sirens and lights.
This is because: 1) they do not look in the rear mirror 2) they have the radio on full force.

(It is better at night because the blue light is more visible)

Npinks, I hope you have an eye in the mirror all the time. LR Freelander2 2,2 Td4 HSE manuel Stornaway Grey (Metallic) & Ebony Black Leather & Sun/Moon-roof & Bi-Xenon & Roof Rails & Tow bar & Body side rubbing strips & Cold climate pack & Privacy glass & NavTeq . I do believe that i have never not seen or heard a amublance, police car or any other emergency vehicle wether i have or have not got my stereo on loud

Just because you have your stereo on loud, (or caravan in tow) doesn't mean you stop using your mirrors

At least when i do play my music loud i am not a chav, THUMP THUMP person and i don't do it driving down the high street, especially in a country village Rolling Eyes Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

Npinks, I think you are a good example of a well-educated, sensible driver who have extra mirrors (#) to see what happens behind the caravans.

(#) Is it really necessary for freely. LR Freelander2 2,2 Td4 HSE manuel Stornaway Grey (Metallic) & Ebony Black Leather & Sun/Moon-roof & Bi-Xenon & Roof Rails & Tow bar & Body side rubbing strips & Cold climate pack & Privacy glass & NavTeq . Production Date: 11/5-2007 in Halewood.

I have extended mirrors on the wing mirrors to be able to see further round the caravan, I can see quite a bit in the normal mirrors but the extra mirrors are better Thumbs Up

I also like to watch my mirrors, know whats what and whats where within my imaginary box that surrounds my car whilst on the road Smile Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis
