wood imitation strip

Hi everyone. I have seen my LR2 waiting at the customs so should be with me in a few days. The only problem is that instead of a dark eucaliptus strip at the facia (that's what I 've ordered) it has the silver one. Does anyone know if it is easy to change that to wood (can I order a replacement or accessory), is it a DIY job or is it prone to abusing the facia?

I'd keep the silver one (pixel metallic) . IMHO, it looks miles better than the plastic wood!

Just my views Wink

Re: wood imitation strip

why did you go to customs??? Are mentally handicapt??? or what.

Please do not pick the brown plastic, but keep the silver.

Land rover has its own customs place here. Before paying out the full amount I wanted to make sure that everything is ok. Is that bad? Rolling Eyes

If you really want the wood then the dealer can add it later as it is also available as an accessory. Just requires a hot hair-drier to remove the pixel strips and then the new bits are held on with more HD sticky pads. How can carbon have a footprint, it has no feet?

I absolutely agree with you ej. Only option for me would be to change the whole plastic bit which has the wood imitation factory glued. I just don't know how easy it is to change this plastic bit.
