Reports seem to suggest the fire that broke out in the multi story car park in Liverpool was started by a Land Rover engine catching alight. Hope the owners of that car were insured properly. FL2 Metropolis, Loire Blue, ebony/ivory |

Seeing it was at a horse show, I guess there were plenty of RR’s & LR’s there.....

It seems that at least one Land Rover was there.

That's interesting as there was also a fire at the Land Rover dealership in Solihull on Saturday night.

According to an eye witness, she said the blaze started at the engine of “an old Land Rover”.

I don’t see how the whole car park went up in flames , ok 1 car goes on fire and that sets light to a few others then hopefully the fire service turns up. How could it spread from floor to floor ? Do it now ! Your a long time dead !! |

Apparently it was one of those 1/2 floor designs, although in that pic it doesnt look like it.

I have been trying to figure out how the fire could spread across the whole structure - then George comes up with the answer.

The concrete floor has been severely damaged in places. I wonder if there will be problems getting the undamaged cars out ?

Cars parked on the roof level were untouched and a pair of labs retrieved the morning after the fire. They were very very lucky. MY 09 GS manual in Lago Grey, Wood Co arm rest and side bumper strips - now sold.
