Happily cleaning the car, got round to the back and noticed the chrome tail pipe missing... i can only assume some little F has nicked it... it's only been on the car about 3 months (purchased form the large one on disco 3!).. gutted!

If you've got the chrome tail pipe, might be worth giving the bolt a tweak and maybe think about replacing the standard nut with an anti tamper nut, either that or weld the current nut in place...

Perhaps the chrome tailpipes are becoming like the old VW badges - for some random reason people will start nicking them wordwide!! Gone - TD4 XS Auto, Sumatra Black, Mud flaps and side strips, clear indicators, private plate, privacy glass

The "carstyling-team" in Bremerhaven, Germany offers the TD4 stainless steel exhaust pipe trim (cover) for a fixed price of EUR 20,00 plus shipping with the well known internet auctioneer. I have bought one and the fit is perfect. Looking at the inside of the ss-trim I find the original markings removed - for what reason whatever.

It's probably because they sell for loads on ebay, when I swapped my TD4 rear silencer for the i6 dual exit silencer, I got £67 for my chrome tail pipe extension! Freelander 2 HSE Lux 2013MY - Barolo Black with Ivory Leather.
